DRESS FOR FUN AND ADVENTURE

We need to start dressing for fun and adventure. Have you ever noticed that you pick out what you wear by your mood instead of to make the mood? Well we need to change things up. Even if you're just hanging around the house cleaning or out working in your garden you can look "comfy cute". I know for a fact that if I put a little effort into what I wear (even if I'm having a down day) it makes me feel better. I have found some really awesome websites for us to spruce up for every mood and every occasion. Some you have probably heard of and some are eclectic. Remember we're survivors and taking steps towards wholeness. Before I go shopping I ALWAYS stop at "Starbucks", so we have to stop there first.

During the day I'm a jeans type of girl. But guess what? You can look so beautiful and sexy in jeans with the right accessories. Ask a male friend, boyfriend or your husband. Remember back in the 70's and 80's the "Levi" slogan? "I like tight buns in 501's". As we all know, there are two types of jeans. Jeans you can wear to the beach or around the house, or to a ball game or even to the movies or mall. Then there are designer jeans that are for special occasions and parties. Well, let's start with our comfy jeans first. You can't beat these prices for our kick around jeans. This is awesome. I'm having so much fun dressing us. Hey I've done my homework so hang on for the ride. "Tilley's" is a southern California store that rocks all kinds of jeans, flip-flops, cute dresses and shorts with accessories. I'm a "Cali Girl" and you'll love this place. So now we have some jeans and some sandals and beach wear. Let's keep going. I didn't do my homework to stop now. O.K. check this out. This cute shop has a little bit of everything from sundresses to designer jeans to sandals. Our next shop has some clothing endorsed by celebrities and they just have a very hip and sexy vibe. Just because were survivors and gone through tragedies doesn't mean we never want to feel sexy again. Remember, "life isn't the party that you had hoped for but while you're here you might as well dance". My daughter Hannah says "If you got it, flaunt it, boy you know you want it". They have something for everyone. This next shop will have you in "shop till you drop" mode. Couture Candy has a little bit of every thing. Now let's get some jewelry to make our outfits "pop". "Ultra" has nice diamonds and inexpensive metals for casual wear. They also have some nice jewelry at "Outlet" prices. Remember, just because you get a huge discount doesn't mean it's not high quality. I love a good deal and it makes shopping so much more fun. Next on our shopping spree is a store called "Novica". It's awesome. It has jewelry from all over the world. It has gifts too. I have to say it's my favorite for casual wear. It has some dressy stuff too. I'm sort of a "hippie chick" so I love the place.
